$809K raised for Meeting Street School

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- The annual Meeting Street Telethon on WPRI-12 was another major success for local students.

$809,993 was raised for the Meeting Street School during Saturday night's four hour telethon. The school educates more than 3,000 children of all learning abilities using a variety of cutting-edge technology.

Eyewitness News would like to sincerely thank all of the volunteers, sponsors, and generous donors who helped make this year's telethon a success for the Meeting Street School.
