3 weekend incidents of shots fired

Incidents happened in Providence and East Providen

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Providence police are investigating a shooting that left a house riddled with bullets Sunday night.

It happened near the corner of Willard Ave and Taylor St. around 8:00 p.m.

Bullets shattered at least two windows and bullet holes were seen near the front door.

At least seven shell casings were found at the scene.

This is the second incident involving shots fired at a home in Providence this weekend.

A house on Waverly St. was hit by bullets early Saturday morning. Although, police said that the house was not the target.

Meanwhile, East Providence police are also investigating a case involving shots fired at a home. Someone fired at least five bullets into a home on Summit St. around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

East Providence officials are looking for a dark colored vehicle that was spotted leaving the scene.

No one was injured in any of the incidents.

All of the incidents are under investigation.
