PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Three people were taken to the hospital following an apparent hit and run crash in Providence.
It happened just before 2:00 a.m near the intersection of Smith and Frederick Streets.
There is no word on the condition of the three people hurt in the crash. However, police may have little trouble finding the other driver involved in the accident. Officers took a bumper that was left at the scene -- with a license plate still attached.
Ambulances from North Providence and Lincoln responded to the scene to assist.
