PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Two men were hurt in a fight outside a downtown Providence establishment early Saturday morning.
Providence Police tell Eyewitness News that an officer was flagged down at about 2 a.m. as a "large disturbance" took place outside 201 Washington Street.
Officers found one man who had been slashed in the forearm by a piece of glass, and another man who had been hit in the head with a belt. Both victims were hospitalized but their injuries are not believed to be serious.
A 25 year-old man was arrested and is expected to be charged for the assaults.
