1 hurt in Providence crash

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- At least one person was taken to the hospital following a two car crash in Providence.

It happened around 3:00 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Douglas and Chalkstone avenues. One of the vehicles smashed into a utility pole. Electricity in the area did not appear to be impacted.

There is no word of the extent of any injuries, or what may have caused the accident.
