PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Providence has made another national list - but this one may sound a bit "crazy".

The Daily Beast has ranked the country's craziest cities, after studying the 57 biggest metropolitan areas. Providence placed third, right under Cincinnati and San Fransisco.

"Crazy is on the rise again," the article reads. "From shrinks to drinks, The Daily Beast tallies who's handling their stress - and who's losing it."

The study measured psychiatrists per capita , the level of stress, and the amount of alcohol consumed.

Nearby Boston made number 31 on the crazy list.

The Daily Beast claims that its findings are backed by data from the census and from Citysearch.com.
