Scratch tickets stolen from local diner

Police watching for stolen tickets to be cashed

SCITUATE, R.I. (WPRI) - An investigation is underway Monday night into a break-in at a Scituate diner.

Eyewitness News has confirmed 244 lottery tickets were taken form Cindy's Diner and Restaurant on Hartford Avenue.

The tickets are valued at $369.

The Scituate Police Department is working with the Rhode Island Lottery to see if someone tries to cash any possible winning tickets that are among the stolen batch.
