JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- Johnston police have made an arrest in a brutal weekend attack after the suspect showed up at headquarters.
Police say Michael Norton, 25, turned himself in after an active warrant was out for his arrest. He was wanted for felony assault after man was beaten with a baseball bat on Borden Avenue early Saturday morning.
The condition of the unidentified victim is unknown at this time.
Norton is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at 2 p.m. in 3rd District Court.
