BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WPRI) - Crews in Burrillville rescued a trapped passenger after a car went off Spring Lake Road and down an embankment. It happened just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said the car crashed into some trees and rocks. The driver was able to escape, but his passenger remained trapped inside.
Crews used the "jaws of life" to get her out. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating what caused the crash.
