SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WPRI) --Northwest Rhode Island, one of the areas hardest hit by Saturday night's snow storm, began digging out Sunday morning.
Up by Smithfield, plow drivers were hard at work clearing the snow from the roads and parking lots.
"You kind of like to ease into it, but here we are. What, ten, twelve inches. It's tough but the snowblower makes it a little easier," said Ken Castelli from Smitty's Lawns.
While most main roads have been cleared, police warn streets can still be deceptively slick.
