SCITUATE, R.I. (WPRI) -- A young child and his mother have been found safe in Rhode Island after an Amber Alert was issued in Connecticut Thursday evening.
3-year-old Anthony Bunce and his mother, 40-year-old Yolanda Bunce, were found by police in Scituate after they had been reported missing.
The two were last seen in Hartford Thursday afternoon, and co-workers of Anthony's father, Edward, told him that the boy's mother was not coherent at the time. Police tell us she was looking for Edward for an unknown reason and dropped off miscellaneous items.
