Police seek to ID Kohl's theft suspect
Man stole clothing from Smithfield store

SMITHFIELD R.I. (WPRI) -- Police are searching for a suspect who stole men's clothing from the Kohl's store on Putnam Pike in Smithfield.
Police say the man stole three pairs of men's shorts and left the store without making an attempt to pay for them.
The suspect was seen getting into a newer model Volvo S60 or S80 four-door sedan, possibly gray. The vehicle also had a tinted rear license plate cover.
Anyone who has information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to call Smithfield Police at (401) 231-2500 x 124.
