NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - A young boy battling brain cancer is on his way to Disney World with his family, thanks to a local group.
A limousine picked up Nicholas, his parents and his grandparents at his grandparents home in North Providence Tuesday morning to take them to the airport.
Nicholas' doctors recently cleared him to travel.
"He's excited, he knows he's going to see Mickey," Nicholas' mom said.
The trip was made possible by Children's Wishes of Rhode Island .
Nicholas' parents say they are overwhelmed by all the support they have received.
