"Pauly D" getting his own new show

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - Rhode Island reality star Pauly D is getting his own show.
"The Pauly D Project" premieres on MTV at 10:30 p.m. on March 29th. The show will focus on the Johnston native's "growing musical stardom," according to the network, and will include a few cameo appearances by rapper 50 Cent.
Pauly D, whose real name is Paul Delvecchio, signed a deal with the rapper's record label, G-Note Records. Also expected to appear on the show are Delvecchio's road manager and bodyguard.
Delvecchio spent five years on the hit MTV show "Jersey Shore" and is the first cast member to launch a spin-off show of his own.
