Person killed in motorcycle crash

FOSTER, R.I. (WPRI) -- A person was killed Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Foster.
Police tell Eyewitness News that the crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Moosup Valley Road and Plainwoods Road. The motorcycle was headed west on Moosup Valley Road when it left the road and struck a tree.
Foster police say the driver, who is not yet being identified pending notification of family, was pronounced dead at the scene.
