WESTERLY, R.I. (WPRI) - A small plane lands in a field in Westerly earlier today. Officials are not releasing too many details of what happened, but the plane came down just after five this evening.
It happened at Shore Road and Ocean View Highway. The pilot only suffered minor injuries and the plane sustained minimal damage. No word on what caused the accident.
