WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian announced Monday morning all three of the city's unions have reached tentative contract agreements.

The police and fire departments and municipal workers have agreed to wage reductions, increased contributions to health care costs, and no wage increase next year.

If finalized, Avedisian said the agreements will save the city about $1.9 million, for the four months remaining in the current fiscal year.

This also marks the first time in Warwick's history the administration and all three unions negotiated simultaneously to reach new agreements.
