URI changes alcohol sales policy
School will now sell beer and wine at Ryan Center

Kingston, R.I. - The University of Rhode Island is relaxing its rules about alcohol at athletic events.
The school announced Thursday that beer and wine will be available for sale in two places at The Ryan Center, on the suite level and in the alumni room, starting this weekend.
School President David Dooley has also decided to allow drinking during tailgating before URI football games.
