Emotional homecoming for Taunton troops
772nd Military Police Company returns from Iraq

Taunton, Mass. (WPRI) - It's an emotional welcome home as Taunton's 772nd Military Police Company returns from Iraq.
165 soldiers were reunited with family and friends Saturday afternoon at the Taunton Armory after being deployed for a year. While in Iraq the unit provided security and trained Iraqi police forces in Al Kut.
Today's homecoming was just an informal reunion with loved ones. A formal welcome home ceremony will be held soon.
