SOMERSET, Mass., (WPRI) - Police responded to a child possibly hit by a lawn mower in Somerset.
Eyewitness News has learned that crews responded to a house on William J Higgins Road on Monday afternoon.
Police tell us the victim, a two-year-old girl, has been taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital with serious injuries.
The child is undergoing surgery. Family members have declined to comment at this time.
It is unclear exactly what happened at this time. There are no other details available at this time.
