Funeral arrangements set for Sen. Pell

NEWPORT, R.I. (WPRI) - Former Senator Claiborne Pell's funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5 at Trinity Episcopal Church, located on Queen Ann Square in Newport.

A reception will follow the service at the Pell Center at Salve Regina University.

According to a spokesman, there will not be a wake.

Pell, 90, died at his Newport home Thursday after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
