PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - A special meeting to go over the state's plans for a possible H1N1 flu outbreak this fall got underway Tuesday morning at the Department of Labor and Training.
During the meeting, state Health Director David Gifford is expected to brief council members on preparations for a possible outbreak.
Officials are concerned about H1N1 spreading among school students. Last week, officials announced schools around the state plan to distribute the H1N1 vaccine to students in October.
