PLAINVILLE, Mass. (WPRI) - Just weeks after a Plainville teenager died following a drinking party, a number of teenagers from her high school charged with attending another underage drinking party faced the judge Monday.

Plainville Police arrested 13 people between the ages of 15 and 19 Friday at a drinking party in the woods. Police found beer and other alcoholic drinks, as well as marijuana.

According to the District Attorney's Office, charges were dropped Monday against 11 of the 13. They were each ordered to pay $300 in court costs.

Charges against two of the teens remain. Emily Letson has a prior case in the system and is facing drug charges, and Ryan Ellis is charged with Distribution of Marijuana. Both are charged as adults.

The arrests came just three weeks after a 17-year-old Plainville girl died following a party at an abandoned airport in nearby Norfolk.  Authorities say Taylor Meyer drowned.

This most recent party was the third one in the region police have broken up in the past few weeks.

Letson is due back in court Dec. 11 for a pre-trial conference. Ellis will have his pre-trial conference on Jan. 9.
