Local man charged with his sixth DUI

PLAINVILLE, Mass. (WPRI) - Police say 45-year-old Gregg Berube of Plainville was arrested Friday night, after he almost hit a Foxboro Police Officer with his car.

Investigators told the Attleboro Sun Chronicle that following the close-call, Berube was involved with a hit-and-run accident with another car.

He was arrested after a mile-long chase through Plainville. Berube faces several charges, including drunk driving, driving with a suspended license, and failure to stop at the scene of an accident.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in Wrentham District Court on Tuesday.
