WPRI.com - Police say they have made an arrest in the city's latest murder. Twenty-seven-year-old, Adam Pina of New Bedford is being charged with the murder of 41 -year-old, Wayne Rice.
The shooting happened Tuesday night after a fight broke out in a V.F.W. Hall. Rice, a father of eleven was taken to Saint Luke's Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Shortly after the shooting on Park Street, police were called to another reported shooting on Arnold Street.
Police have not released any details on what happened there. It's not known at this time if the shootings are connected.
