NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI/AP) - Olympic swimmer Elizabeth Beisel says she is leaving her hometown of North Kingstown next fall to attend the University of Florida.

The 17-year-old raced in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

She finished fourth in the 200-meter individual medley and fifth in the 200-meter backstroke.
