New year brings luck in the lottery

Lottery pays out more than $2.3M in prizes

    CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - The new year has brought a lot of luck to several Rhode Island lottery players.So far, the lottery has paid out more than $2.3 million in prizes.

    Fifteen of those winners have won $10,000 or more. There were also two $10,000 powerball winners who have yet to claim their prizes.
