NEW BEDFORD, Mass. - New Bedford Police are looking for a shooting victim and the gunman. According to investigators, two groups of people met at the corner of North and Cedar Streets after 11 a.m. Wednesday. Then, three gunshots were fired at a car and a passenger was hit. Eyewitnesses said the victim and the suspects took off running.
Neighbors said they're tired of hearing gunfire in the area.
Sandra Link was putting out her trash when the shooting happened.
"I heard Bam, Bam, Bam, three shots. The man walked by me. I asked him if he was okay. He kept walking," she said
Eyewitnesses said that man was shot in the side. Nobody else was injured.
