Cops arrest, charge teen murder suspect

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) - New Bedford police have arrested and charged 17 year-old, Erick Cournoyer of New Bedford with murder in connection to Wednesday's shooting death of 18 year-old, Bianca Rosado.
Rosado was shot late Wednesday night at the corner of Collins Street and Cedar Street.
The shooting happened shortly after 10 p.m., just a few hours after another shooting at North and Cedar Streets.
Cournoyer is also accused of shooting Rosado's boyfriend, 17-year-old Victor Camacho outside the same location as the murder 22 Collins Street. Camacho survived the shooting and is currently in stable condition at Rhode Island Hospital.
Cournoyer is expected to be arraigned on Friday morning in New Bedford District Court.
