NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) - New Bedford police have confirmed an 18-year-old woman shot late Wednesday night at the corner of Collins Street and Cedar Street has died from her injuries.

The shooting happened shortly after 10 p.m., just a few hours after another shooting at North and Cedar Streets.

According to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office, Bianca Rosado was shot and killed outside 22 Collins St. Her boyfriend, 17-year-old Victor Camacho was also shot at the same location. Emergency crews rushed him to St. Luke's Hospital, where he's reported to be in stable condition.

Investigators do not believe the homicide is gang-related. There is no word on if the homicide is connected with the shooting earlier in the day.
