NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) - New Bedford Police are asking for the public's help in searching for a missing elementary school teacher.

Authorities say Sheryl Grace Duncan of New Bedford was last seen on Monday. Police say Duncan is married, with two young children.

Duncan was last seen Monday driving her 2007 Chrysler Pacifica, navy blue in color, bearing Massachusetts registration 227VRD.

According to the investigators, she reportedly used her ATM Card the day she disappeared, and has had no contact with her husband or children.

Duncan is a teacher at the DeValles Elementary School in New Bedford. Her husband also tells Eyewitness News she has a history of depression, but has never disappeared before.

Duncan has ties around New England, Maryland, and even as far away as Texas.

Anyone who has seen Duncan or may have information as to where she may be headed to is urged to call 911.

She is reported as an actively missing person and her information has been entered into the national law enforcement database.
