MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (WPRI) - Police are investigating a rash of break-ins, some of which they said occurred over a one-week period in late March.
Police said the latest burglary happened March 30 on West Main Road. A woman who lives there told police she found her front screen door open then discovered her jewelry had been stolen.
Police said they received a report of another burglary that happened on the same same two days earlier. A pendant worth about $10,000 was stolen from that home along with numerous silver coins and a gold wedding band.
Police said about 10 break-ins have been reported between mid-February and late March. No one has been arrested in connection to any of the break-ins.
