North Kingstown, RI (WPRI) - Mark Kilcline's medical records will remain sealed as he attempts to recover from shooting wounds.

Kilcline was shot by North Kingstown police back in February.

After the shooting occured, investigators said they believed he may have had psychological problems.

Prosecutors have agreed not to release any confidential health-care information regarding Kilcline's condition or plans for his care until further court order or agreement among the parties.

In exchange, Kilcline's lawyers agreed to give the state 18 hours' notice before Kilcline is transferred to a rehabilitation center out of state, away from the jurisdiction of Rhode Island authorities.

Since the shooting, Kilcline has been in and out of a coma.
