Man struck, killed by drunk driver

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) - A man is dead after police say a drunk driver hit him. New Bedford police say the victim was struck by a minivan after he left a bar on Purchase Street Saturday night.

Police aren't releasing the victim's name, but the driver of the minivan is facing charges of drunk driving and driving without a license, though more charges may be filed.
