Police investigate robbery in Lincoln

Crime happened at the Navigant Credit Union

LINCOLN, R.I. (WPRI) - Police in Lincoln continue to investigate a bank robbery that happened at the Navigant Credit Union on Front Street Tuesday afternoon.

A teller says and African American woman, wearing a hat, demanded money. The suspect did not show a weapon but did make off with some cash.

She was last seen running out of the bank. No one was injured in the incident. If you have any information, call the Lincoln Police Department at (401) 333-1111.
