PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Rhode Island lawmakers will try to figure out just how the state got into this financial crisis.
The Ocean State is tied for the highest unemployment rate, and also has one the the worst budget imbalances in the nation.
On Monday, the House Finance Committee will again review what happened leading to this dire economic situation.
Also next week, legislators will debate low, and even new cost ways to jump start the economy.
