James Woods admitted to RI Hospital

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Actor James Woods, the Rhode Island native, is being treated at Rhode Island Hospital after having an episode at lunch Friday. The hospital confirmed Friday night he was in the emergency room.

A friend of the actor told Eyewitness News Woods was undergoing tests.

Woods recently starred in the CBS drama, "Shark," and has guest starred as a parody of himself on the Fox animated sitcom, "Family Guy."
