PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - A judge has ordered former Rhode Island Supreme Court Chief Justice Frank Williams not to have any more contact with his 6-year-old goddaughter.
The ruling is part of a divorce case involving Williams' former driver and her husband. The husband said he was intimidated by Williams' role in the raising of his daughter.
Court documents show that Williams also paid for the child's private schooling.
Williams stepped down as chief justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court last year.
