RI troopers make fireworks bust

PROVIDENCE, RI (WPRI) - The Rhode Island State Police arrest Russell Alessio of Providence for sale of fireworks and conspiracy to sell.

Alessio was arraigned at the Lincoln Barracks where he was ordered held without bail pending a violation hearing.

Alessio violated his probation after sentences stemming from counterfeit currency and child molestation charges. He has been turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions.
