FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) - Massachusetts State Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that left a Fall River man dead Sunday.
The crash happened just after 2:30 p.m. on Route 79 South. State Police said 27-year old Scott Copp had just rode onto Route 79 from the Brightman Street on-ramp, when he lost control of his motorcycle, went across all three southbound lanes, and struck the median.
Copp was pronounced dead at the scene. State Police said speed may have played a role in the crash.
