FAA decides not to hold airport meeting

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - There will not be another public meeting on the proposed T.F. Green runway expansion.
Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian says that he is furious over the Federal Aviation Administration 's decision.
More than four-hundred people attended a chaotic meeting about the plan in early June.
In a tensely worded letter from the mayor to the FAA obtained by
Eyewitness News the mayor says, "Your refusal to conduct another
meeting means that the residents of Rhode Island do not matter to
the FAA."
