EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Police are investigating after a man was seriously injured when his bicycle collided with a car in East Providence. It happened at Waterman Avenue and Commercial Way Friday morning.
According to police, the 55-year-old man was not wearing a helmet, and suffered serious head injuries. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital to be treated. The woman driving the car, along with her infant daughter, were also taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The name of the cyclist is being withheld until family is notified.
