Child severely bitten while at daycare

FALL RIVER, Mass (WPRI) - A husband and wife running a home daycare in Fall River are now under investigation after a baby girl allegedly bit two other children.

A 2-year-old girl was bitten by another little girl 12 different times, while at The Archangels Daycare on 6 Pulaski Street in Fall River. The child was bitten on the eyelid, cheek, ears, arms, stomach, and back.

The Fall River Herald reported that the owners of the daycare, Ashraf William, 40, and his wife, Mervat Henein, 35, are now charged with wreckless endangering of a child. Neighbors say they’ve never had a problem before.

A second victim reported that a one-year-old boy was also allegedly bitten on the temple.

The DCYF are reporting that they are investigating with police as that two-year-old girl is being treated at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
