PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The Annual "Kids Count" Factbook was released. A group of speakers met over breakfast Monday morning to discuss child well-being in the Ocean State.
This newest Factbook shows progress and setbacks for children and their families in the areas of health, education, safety, and economic well-being.
Officials say the financial crisis in our state and nation places children and families at risk.
