PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - AAA of Southern New England says Labor Day travel will be down
this year.
Last year, more than 45 million Americans took advantage of
Labor Day coming early, taking one last vacation before school
started.
But this year, the holiday falls on September 7, after most
kids go back to school.
AAA says it expects 6 million fewer travelers will hit the
road.
