PROVIDENCE, RI (WPRI) - State lawmakers plan to hold another round of meetings this week.

Today, the House Finance Committee plans to review spending by Governor Carcieri's administration, and try to figure out how the state wound up with such a big deficit.

Later this week, lawmakers will see if there are any ways to stimulate Rhode Island's economy, without spending a lot of money.

The state is projected to be 372-million dollars in the red for this fiscal year.
