PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Rhode Island Lt. Gov. Elizabeth Roberts has formed a campaign team as she explores running for governor next year.

Roberts was elected lieutenant governor in 2006 and previously served as a Democratic state senator.

Her campaign team, announced Thursday, will be led by Seth Klaiman, the former finance director and campaign coordinator for U.S. Sen. Jack Reed, another Rhode Island Democrat.

Klaiman said Roberts was still "testing the waters" for a 2010 race, but that she believes she can provide leadership and bring people together.
