LINCOLN, R.I. (WPRI) - The Twin River bankruptcy case is scheduled to return to court.
Lawyers for UTGR Inc., the holding company set to operate the Lincoln gaming facility, appeared in U.S. bankruptcy court on Tuesday, to update a judge on the progress of the case.
They told Judge Arthur N. Votolato that a financial reorganization plan has been distributed to the financial institutions who are owed money.
Those parties have until March 9 to confirm a plan. Most would receive less money than is owed.
Twin River declared bankruptcy in June 2009.
