Woman killed in I-195 crash

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) - Massachusetts State Police are investigating a car crash on Route 195 West Sunday night that left a woman dead.

State Police said a Ford Taurus driven by 65-year-old Patricia Cardoza of Somerset crashed near Exit 8A in Fall River around 8:30 p.m. Cardoza was rushed to Charlton Memorial Hospital , where she was pronounced dead.

State Police said they were still investigating the circumstances of the crash late Sunday night.

It was the second fatal car crash on Route 195 in as many days. Early Saturday morning, a West Warwick man died when his car lost control on 195 West in Westport.
