CRANSTON, RI (WPRI)- - A school bus is struck by a minivan at a bust intersection in Cranston.
The accident happened shortly after 11am at the corner of Northup Street and Dennis Avenue in the Edgewood section of the city.
According to police the City of Cranston school bus was carrying one ten-year-old boy when the minivan, traveling the wrong way, struck the bus.
The driver of the minivan, Mathew McCarthy, was cited for the collision and also has a warrant out for his arrest in Florida.
No one was injured in the accident.
